The back deck is especially suited to bird-watching or feeding the resident possums and wallabies whilst cooking your latest catch on the BBQ. The cottage is sheltered from the superb Vivonne Bay beach, which can be heard at night and is only a few minutes walk away. Vivonne Bay has been voted the best beach in Australia and is ideal for fishing, surfing or just strolling, hand in hand. Vivonne Bay jetty, a few minutes away by car, offers catches of tommy ruffs, garfish, whiting, trevally, salmon and squid. The Harriet River is only 100 metres away from Raven Cottage through light mallee and melaleuca scrub. Kayaking and canoes can be hired for a delightful tour on the river it
